The MSK040B-0600-NN-M2-UP1-NNNN is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MSK IndraDyn S Synchronous Motors series. Within multi-axis machining centers, pick-and-place gantries, or packaging stations, the motor converts controlled drive current into precise rotary motion for closed-loop positioning and velocity tasks. It is suitable for compact motion axes that require repeatable start-stop movement, accurate positioning, and stable speed control under changing loads.

The feedback system uses an EnDat2.1 digital interface to transmit position data and diagnostic information to the drive controller. Inside the housing, an optical scanning system resolves the code disk at 2048 signal periods, and internal interpolation supports fine speed regulation. Position is retained after power loss because the encoder is a multiturn absolute device.
