The MSK040B-0450-NN-S2-UG1-NNNN is a new generation industrial synchronous motor designed by highly trained operators of Rexroth Indramat. This motor is a very flexible device that can operate at a rotational speed ranging from about 1000 to 6000 revolutions per minute; the motor is thus perfect for industrial production systems that require accurate motor operation over a broad speed range. Apart from its flexibility, this industrial motor is also manufactured according to international quality standards; its housing unit is designed to prevent the penetration of foreign liquid substances and solid particles of any size. The MSK040B-0450-NN-S2-UG1-NNNN motor does not require an external control cabinet for additional protection. The enclosure of this industrial motor is also structured to allow for the direct installation of the motor.

At a standstill and a temperature of 60 kelvin, this industrial motor can generate a continuous torque output of about 1.7 Newton-meters while drawing a current of about 1.5 amperes from the mains. The encoder of this motor is a single turn optical encoder with about 2048 signal periods; this encoder monitors the operation of the motor in real-time and provides the industrial operator with the information it needs for the accurate control of the motor. The MSK040B-0450-NN-S2-UG1-NNNN industrial motor requires two major types of electrical cables for optimum operation; the power cable and the motor feedback cable, these two cables enters into the housing of the motor through a 240-degree connector integrated on the housing of the controller.
