The MSK030B-0900-NN-S3-UG0-NNNN is a compact synchronous servomotor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MSK IndraDyn S Synchronous Motors series. It converts electrical power from an IndraDrive amplifier into controlled torque and speed. This makes it suitable for packaging stations, pick-and-place gantries, and other automated assemblies that require accurate closed-loop positioning.

Heat is removed by natural convection, so the housing must remain exposed to ambient air rather than covered by thermal insulation. The aluminum body has an IP65 protection level that blocks dust ingress and resists low-pressure water jets. Rated operation is limited to an ambient range of 0 to 40 °C. Rotor position data is transmitted through a Hiperface interface connected to a rotatable 240° hybrid connector, which combines power, signal, and memory contacts in one plug. The integrated feedback device provides 16 signal periods per mechanical revolution, and its logical travel range is single-turn. Because the motor is supplied without a holding brake, load retention during power-off conditions must be provided externally or by drive torque.

The position sensor uses capacitive pickup technology, which helps it resist oil mist and magnetic interference. Thermal endurance is assigned to class 155, so the insulation system can withstand continuous winding temperatures up to 155 °C without rapid aging.
