The MS2N13-E1BHL-BSEG0-NNCNN-NN is part of the MS2N series of servo motors from Rexroth. This AC Asynchronous servo motor is designed to produce high speed of rotation for up to 3700 rpm. The servo motor can also generate high rotational torque of up to 592 Nm, depending on the temperature; the maximum output torque can be reduced to 556 Nm. This AC motor is designed for operation in an ambient temperature between 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
The IP 65 protection rating on this AC servo motor helps keep the motor sealed from the inside as it provides a level 6 protection against dust particles that may affect the mechanical function of the motor and with level 5 liquid protection rating, the servo motor is able to keep the motor dry and clean from the inside even in the case of light rain. Power washing the motor is allowed as the protection rating can help keep the motor protected however, ensure keeping the terminals and other connectors protected to prevent corrosion. The motor also features a shaft seal ring that ensures the shaft end of the servo motor is sealed and protected.
Mounting this servo motor is pretty simple, as it comes with a flange mounting option where the servo needs to be mounted perpendicular to the load attached. The flange mounting ensures that the load on the servo shaft does not affect the shape of the shaft as it keeps the load on it very uniform and spread out, preventing wobbling or vibrations that may cause the motor to malfunction. This servo motor comes with an R grade vibration severity rating that keeps the servo motor's housing reinforced, helping dampen vibrations within the motor enclosure.
