Product Description:
With a voltage rating of 475 volts AC and a current requirement of 90 Amperes at nominal, the MS2N13-E1BHL-ASEG0-NNNNN-NN from Rexroth is a high-speed servo motor that offers a lot in terms of performance and reliability. This servo motor uses the closed-loop configuration for positioning its motor shaft with the help of an encoder module attached to the rear end of the servo. The encoder tracks the position of the shaft by emitting 128 pulses per rotation and relies on the Hiperface protocol.
To power the encoder, the MS2N13-E1BHL-ASEG0-NNNNN-NN relies on a DC input supply of 7 to 12 volts DC. Whenever an increment is detected, the encoder will generate a square wave pulse. This pulse is then used by the counter in the motor controller to add an increment, allowing the motor control module to calculate the current position of the motor shaft as well as the increment needed to reach a particular position. The motor comes with a rated torque of 300 Nm at standstill torque while drawing up to 116 amperes of current.
To ensure this motor does not generate a lot of noise when at maximum settings, the MS2N13-E1BHL-ASEG0-NNNNN-NN comes with a 75 dB noise rating that ensures the motor is completely sealed, especially its blower attached to the axial to help prevent the leakage of sound from within the motor enclosure. Since the motor comes with a shaft seal ring, it also helps prevent leakage of lubrication oil from the motor housing. This AC servo motor comes with a smooth shaft design that does not require a coupler to attach a component to the shaft of the servo motor for rotation at high speed.
