Product Description:
The MS2N13-E1BHC-RSEB0-NCCNN-NN from Rexroth comes with various features that make this servo motor a great choice for industrial automation. When rotating at the speed of 2000 rpm, this servo motor is able to generate a rotational torque of 600 Nm, which is perfect for heavy industrial applications that demand high torque output from a servo. The maximum speed that this 90 kW servo motor can provide is 3600 rpm while generating a current of 58 amperes. To prevent the motor from rotating, the MS2N13-E1BHC-RSEB0-NCCNN-NN can lock the rotor in a particular position to keep the shaft fixed. This feature is especially handy when it comes to robotics.
The included Hiperface encoder module has a 128 pulse per period capability when it comes to tracking the shaft accurately, as the encoder generates 128 pulses for one complete rotation of the servo shaft. The encoder only allows up to 1 rotation for tracking, after which it reaches its limit and may go back to its homing position. The encoder requires anywhere between 7 and 12 volts DC to operate and draws around 34 mA of current when operating.
When operating this servo motor, always ensure the input frequency for the pulsating sine wave is between 47 and 63 Hz for the motor to be functional, as this is the universal frequency range for operation. This AC servo motor comes with a thermocouple of type E installed that helps this motor detect temperature change in its coil, which acts as a safety feature. With the SIL safety feature, this servo motor is capable of sensing high temperatures during operation with the help of a PT1000 RTD that can sense up to 850 degrees Celsius temperature, however, this servo will limit itself at 145 degrees Celsius even though it can withstand a maximum of 170 degrees Celsius temperature thanks to its class F thermal insulation.
