Product Description:

The MS2N10-D1BFN-DSVH0-NNNNN-NN is a motor with an integrated high-resolution singleturn encoder. It is designed for applications that require very high levels of accuracy. The motor is deployed in combination with a servo controller. Functions performed by the controller include supplying 3-phase AC power to the motor, monitoring and controlling motor parameters, and controlling the optional holding brake. To control the motor, the servo controller first rectifies the input AC it receives from the mains supply, and then converts the DC to AC output for supply to the motor. The inversion - DC to AC - operation is a controlled operation, and in contrast to the AC mains, produces AC output with variable parameters. The controller controls the motor by varying the frequency and amplitude of its AC output. The MS2N10-D1BFN-DSVH0-NNNNN-NN motor can operate with 400 Volts AC (uncontrolled) and 400 to 480 Volts AC (controlled) input.

The motor protection rating depends on a number of factors that include the presence (IP65) or absence (IP64) of a shaft seal, and whether operators order the sealing air option (IP67). The smooth shaft on this motor is without a seal. Keyed shafts are also available. Connection options include a single cable with hybrid connection or separate connections with dual connectors.
