Product Description:

The Indramat’s AC servo motor MS2N10-D0BNL-BMBH0-NNNNN-NN is developed as a brakeless unit that operates on 400 VAC and utilizes 20200 W of rated power under normal conditions. It uses liquid cooling method in accordance with IC3W7 standard through a circulating coolant of 0.25 L volume and its thermal time of 5.1 minutes enhances its cooling capacity in continuous duty cycles.

The MS2N10-D0BNL-BMBH0-NNNNN-NN motor delivers a standstill torque of 107.50 Nm at 100K and its corresponding standstill current reaches 64.70 A under the same condition. It achieves a rated speed of 2420 rounds/min and its maximum torque reaches 155 Nm at 68 °F in cold state. The motor design supports a maximum electrical and mechanical speed of 6000 rounds/min. Its torque constant is measured as 1.95 Nm against the usage of every ampere of current at 68 °F and its back EMF value is 118.5 V per every 1000 rounds. This MS2N10 motor possess 0.180 Ohms of phase impedance and its minimum phase inductance is specified as 0.00505 H, while its components have a capacitive value of 4.10 nF. Its rotor inertia value is 8.10 kg·cm² and its mutual inductance takes place through its five number of pole pairs. The unit weighs 39 kg and possess level A class for low vibrations.

The MS2N10-D0BNL-BMBH0-NNNNN-NN motor is presented with a smooth shaft that measures 3.8 cm x 8 cm and it does not include a protective sealing. It uses standard 128 signal period encoder system with Hiperface technology for accurate positioning up to 120” and it provide 4096 distinguishable rotations, along with SIL 2 safety integrity and category 3 performance level. This motor supports B5 (flange) mounting and it is coated with 9005 RAL standard color from outside for protection against weather.

Frequently Asked Questions about MS2N10-D0BNL-BMBH0-NNNNN-NN:

Q: Why is the torque constant of 1.95 Nm/A important in this motor?

A: A higher torque constant means more torque per ampere, which reduces current demand. This improves overall efficiency and decreases thermal losses.

Q: How does the rotor inertia of 8.1 kg·cm² affect machine applications?

A: The low rotor inertia allows quicker acceleration and deceleration. This makes the MS2N10-D0BNL-BMBH0-NNNNN-NN ideal for high-dynamic motion control tasks.

Q: What is the role of the Hiperface encoder in this motor?

A: The Hiperface encoder provides accurate position and speed feedback. It enhances control precision, making the motor suitable for synchronized multi-axis systems.

Q: Why is the phase inductance of 0.00505 H significant?

A: Its lower phase inductance enables rapid current changes. This supports high-speed switching and improves performance in fast-response automation processes.

Q: How does the SIL 2 safety integrity level benefit industrial users?

A: The SIL 2 ensures compliance with functional safety standards. It reduces risks during operation, which is essential in sensitive production environments.
