Originally intended as an all-purpose servo motor, this machine boasts a compact form factor, a built-in encoder, and a holding brake. Like other MS2N servo motors by Rexroth, the MS2N07-D0BHN-CMSH2-NNANN-NN is a low-inertia motor designed to utilize natural air convection for cooling. To accurately monitor the shaft speed or position during operation, this motor relies on the built-in advanced ACURO link encoder that operates at a resolution of 20 bits. The integrated encoder in the machine can monitor up to 4096 revolutions during operation.
