Built to the MS2N07 series, the Bosch Rexroth Indramat MS2N07-C1BNN-ASUL0-NNNNN-NN is a serially complex synchronous servo motor.

The motor has a torque of 3.2 Nm and is rated to run at a nominal speed of 3000 rpm. Its low profile and small 70 mm flange size and 0.95 kW rated capacity make it ideal for accurate, space-constrained operations in robotics, packaging, and high-speed assembly line work where speed and compactness are equally important considerations. The cooling achieved is in the form of natural convection (self-cooling) and making it easy to design the system as well as lower maintenance requirements. In more challenging thermal applications, optional water cooling is available through a stainless steel cooling jacket-this is the best solution where space is at a premium, and thermal loads are high. The motor has a rotating connector so the cables can be routed flexibly in case of compact installation. The MS2N07-C1BNN-ASUL0-NNNNN-NN features a multi-turn absolute encoder that provides high-resolution position feedback to allow precision control without re-homing in the event of a power outage.

It also admits SIL3 / PLe safety functions and therefore fits well in safety-related applications where functional safety is at the core. Protection is IP65 standard, but with the correct seal configuration of the shaft, it can obtain IP67 at the shaft. The motor is supportive of both smooth and keyway shafts, and this provides flexibility in mechanical integration. A 20 Nm holding brake is optionally possible where static load holding at power off is required. To optimize either dynamic or static motion profiles, the rotor inertia can be set to low or medium (codes 0 or 1).
