The MS2N07-C0BNN-ASUL1-NNNNN-NN is an elite synchronous machine designed and pioneered by Rexroth Indramat Group under their impressive MS2N product series. Boasting a compact form factor and a high-power density, this AC motor is one of the best servo motors available on the market today. Like other MS2N motors, this product is optimized for medium-torque applications requiring a relatively high rotational speed. As a low-inertia motor, this synchronous device can accelerate to the system speed at astonishingly high rates. When operated alongside Rexroth’s powerful servo drives, this motor can precisely be controlled and adjusted during operation.
To allow seamless monitoring and control of the motor shaft during operation, the MS2N07-C0BNN-ASUL1-NNNNN-NN incorporates a built-in Hiperface encoder. The built-in encoder communicates with the servo drive across 16 signal periods and monitors shaft position and speed across one complete revolution. Aside from its incorporated encoder, this motor also employs a standard holding brake that fixes the rotor in place.
