Derived from Rexroth Bosch Group’s high-performing MS2N product line, the MS2N07-C0BNN-ASUL0-NNNNN-NN features an advanced encoder and optimized shaft design. Known for their versatility and efficiency, MS2N motors are ideal for intelligent systems that operate across a wide speed and torque range. During operation, this servo motor relies on a separate control or drive unit for its power supply and protection. Alongside a compatible Rexroth servo drive or amplifier, this AC machine can be variably adjusted depending on the demands and operating conditions of the current system. To facilitate ventilation and cooling, this synchronous motor dissipates heat across its conductive motor casing via natural convection.

Designed as a low-inertia rotor, the MS2N07-C0BNN-ASUL0-NNNNN-NN achieves rated speed with minimal time. Like all other synchronous motors, this machine can accelerate and maintain a speed equal to the rate of the generated magnetic field in the stator. In the context of AC motors, the generated magnetic field in the stator arises from the applied current across the motor’s terminals. For this MS2N product, the rated standstill current is 6.9 A, assuming 60 K operation. At the same operating condition, the servo motor has a rated standstill torque of around 12.8 Nm.
