Product Description:
The MS2N06-D0BRN-BMUG0-NNNNN-NN is a sturdy and reliable MS2N motor designed by Rexroth Bosch Indramat featuring a BR winding code. Like all other synchronous servo motors, this Rexroth motor relies on an external drive circuit to achieve synchronous shaft speed. Through electromagnetic induction, the externally-excited rotor is able to lock-in with the speed of the generated electromagnetic field of the stator. The rotor for most synchronous motors such as the MS2N06-D0BRN-BMUG0-NNNNN-NN are commonly equipped with permanent magnets or rare earth metals to achieve a low rotor inertia. Alongside a compatible Bosch servo drive this motor can be used reliably for servo systems requiring precise shaft driving speed and positioning.
To protect the motor from thermal stress and damage, the MS2N06-D0BRN-BMUG0-NNNNN-NN employs an advanced PT1000 temperature sensor. With this thermal sensor, the motor is able to track the winding temperature and issue warning prompts whenever the temperature exceeds a threshold value. For this motor, specifically, the threshold temperature for warnings is 140 degrees Celsius. The disconnection temperature, on the other hand, is 145 degrees Celsius. To implement this feature, this MS2N servo motor must be configured with a compatible servo drive.
By default, the MS2N06-D0BRN-BMUG0-NNNNN-NN does not come with a built-in cooling system and holding brake. To facilitate cooling, this AC machine relies mainly on convection and surface conduction. It has, however, a multiturn standard HIPERFACE encoder, which allows it to perform advanced rotor monitoring and control functions seamlessly. With its type G output shaft, this servo motor employs a smooth output shaft equipped with a sealing ring. Due to the incorporated sealing ring, the motor’s shaft side is also immune against moisture and dust particles during operation.
