Product Description:
MS2N06-D0BRN-ASUH0-NNNNN-NN is a high-performance synchronous motor. This motor requires a set of operating conditions for delivering optimal performance. For operation, these conditions include 0 to 1000 meters altitude, 5 to 95% relative humidity, and 0 to 40 degrees Celsius ambient temperature. The motor output derates if ambient conditions are outside these limits, and increases significantly when both the altitude and temperature deviations occur at the same time. At 1000 meters, the derating for this self-cooled motor at 60K overtemperature is 6% at 45 degrees Celsius, 12% at 50 degrees Celsius, 17% at 5 degrees Celsius, and 22% at 60 degrees Celsius. At 3000 meters, the derating is 14% at 40 degrees Celsius, 19% at 45 degrees Celsius, 24% at 50 degrees Celsius, 29% at 5 degrees Celsius, and 33% at 60 degrees Celsius.
Under optimal conditions, the rated torque of the MS2N06-D0BRN-ASUH0-NNNNN-NN motor is 6.2 Nm. Even though the base speed is 3800 RPM, the motor can be operated at 6000 RPM. Without a holding brake, the motor weighs 9 kilograms. Its protection category is IP64, which means it is safe from dust but not from low-pressure water jets. MS2N motors support various shaft designs with or without an optional seal. The shaft on the MS2N06-D0BRN-ASUH0-NNNNN-NN motor does not feature a seal. The singleturn absolute encoder provides digital feedback for speed and position control. A rotatable M23 connector on the motor connects to the cable that carries power. A separate feedback cable connects to an M17 connector. Thermal time constant of the motor windings is 38.5 minutes. Thermal time constant for the motor is 17.4 minutes. For mounting a flange is provided as part of the servo motor housing design
