MS2N05-C0BNN-AMDH0-NNANN-NN is a Bosch motor from the MS2N series. It is a synchronous motor with 3000 RPM nominal speed. A type plate listing relevant data is attached to the unit for identification. Surface of the unit can get extremely hot. Therefore the motor should be allowed to cool down before technical personnel work on it. Electrical connections on the must only be established by qualified staff. The shaft end must be protected from strikes that can damage it. The permitted radial and axial shaft loads must not be exceeded. The smooth motor shaft is without a sealing ring. Therefore, the motor is IP64 rated, meaning it is dust proof but is not safe from water coming from low-pressure jets. Designed for self-cooling, the ambient temperature must be kept below 40 degrees Celsius for operation with rated output values.
Bosch does permit operation temperatures between 41 and 60 degrees. However, the output derates when the motor is used within this range.
