This servo motor comes with a SIL2 safety protocol where the motor sends out a signal via the Hiperface digital communication interface to the motor controller. However, since the servo motor is class F thermally insulated, it can withstand a maximum of 170°C temperature. For temperatures higher than 145°C, this motor will shut down automatically following the safety protocol.
