The MS2N04-D0BQN-BMDH0-NNNNN-GE080N1004AN-NN is a compact and high power servo motor from Rexroth that offers a speed range of up to 6000 rpm electrically as well as mechanically. This motor has a standstill torque of 3.85 Nm at 60k and draws up to 2.86 Amperes of current making it electrically less straining compared to other servo motors that are large and heavy and generate a similar amount of torque. At 100k this motor is able to generate torque of up to 4.85 Nm with a current draw of 3.85 Amperes.
This servo motor comes with a very low inertia rating of up to 0.00016 kgm2 that allows it to quickly change its speed or accelerate very quickly from low to high speed in a matter of seconds making this motor a good choice for high speed robotics where precise and quick movements are required. The maximum torque when temperature is at 20 degrees or less is 19.7 Nm while at temperatures more than 20 degrees Celsius, the torque at maximum is 18.3 Nm.
The encoder on this servo motor comes with a 128 signal period encoder that uses the Hiperface interface to communicate and not only transmits data values to the motor control module but also is able to transmit temperature values as this motor comes with a thermistor that continuously monitors the temperature of the motor coil for safety purposes. The encoder on this servo motor comes with a multiturn configuration that can count up to 4096 rotations making this servo motor very versatile. This motor comes with a 2xM17 cable that is rotatable making it easy to wire this motor and also provides the flexibility to mount it at any angle without restricting it due to the wiring position.
