For driving gearbox systems and increasing the output torque, the MS2N04-D0BHN-CSSL0-NNNNN-NN is a servo motor from Rexroth that features a low inertia design that ensures a high response rate, especially when it comes to high-speed robotics applications. This servo motor can spin really fast at the rate of 2040 rpm per minute and can go all the way up to 6000 rotations per minute with the help of high-speed bearings present in the motor. The motor is able to generate up to 159 volts per 1000 rpm of speed, which is then used as feedback voltage to regulate the speed of the servo motor.
The low inertia of 0.00016 kgm² is great as it allows the motor to quickly go from 0 to its full maximum speed in a matter of seconds, allowing the servo motor to respond very quickly. This servo motor comes with a single cable of size M23 that is able to rotate 360 degrees without causing the wire to disconnect. The cable is of thickness 14 AWG and can allow up to 30 amperes of current to flow through it easily.
The shaft design comes with a keyway that is half-balanced with the shaft, but does not feature a shaft seal ring to prevent lubrication oil leakages from the motor housing. This motor does not require lubrication, as the bearings attached to the rotor are self-lubricating and do not require much maintenance other than a regular clean-up after every 25,000 cycles of use to help ensure performance for a longer period of time. This servo motor comes with an IP67 protection rating, with level 6 protection against dust and level 7 protection against moisture.
