The MS2N04-D0BHN-CSSH0-NNNNN-GE120N1010BN-NN is a high-speed, low-inertia servo motor that comes with a high response time, as the inertia rating for this servo motor is 0.00016 kgm². This 6000 rpm servo motor is perfect for timing-critical applications, especially where the load attached keeps changing and the motor reacts accordingly. For quick action, this application is perfect as it takes around 45 ms to reach its top speed or 113 ms with a load attached to its shaft.
To ensure that this servo motor is able to operate in areas such as highly polluted industrial environments (e.g., oil and gas plants, offshore plants, production plants, etc.), this motor is able to operate without any technical issues, thanks to its IP 65 protection rating, which not only keeps the servo motor protected against dust particles but also keeps itself safe against liquid of low levels of pressure. To help protect the motor against high heat signatures, the MS2N series of servo motors come with a Class F protection rating against temperatures that might reach up to 170°C.
The encoder comes with various features and specifications, most notably its resolution of 2048 steps and only allowing one single rotation. The power specifications for this encoder include a 7 to 12-volt DC input and a current rating of up to 28 mA. This encoder comes with the ACURO Link 20-bit encoder interface along with safety protocol SIL 2. For temperature sensing of the coil, the MS2N04-D0BHN-CSSH0-NNNNN-GE120N1010BN-NN uses the Type E thermocouple, which has higher accuracy than K to J type thermocouples and has a higher temperature sensitivity range of -250°C to 900°C.
