Product Description:
The MS2N04-D0BHN-CSSG1-NNNNN-NN part of the MS2N series of servo motors are compact servos that do not take a lot of space and are designed for small industrial machine units and have a very low weight of just under 10 kg. This particular motor model comes with a frame of size D with a length of 180 cm and weighs around 5.4 kg. This motor model is designed to be super faster than normal servos as it comes with a speed rating of 2040 rpm, while the maximum speed that it can generate is 4000 rpm electrical speed and 6000 rpm mechanical speed.
The standstill torque rating at 60K is around 3.85 Nm, which can be used for normal duty applications such as moving conveyor belts or operating small-sized gearbox systems. The standstill current at 60K is 1.61 amperes, which is considerably low, making the motor design highly efficient. The standstill torque rating at 100K is 4.65 Nm, while the current drawn is 1.96 amperes. At a nominal 100K, the torque rating is 3.75 Nm with a current draw of 1.63 amperes. The power rating of this servo motor is 0.8 kW.
This motor model comes with an Advanced 20-bit ACURO Link encoder that features SIL 2 safety protocol, that not only is capable of transmitting position values to the motor controller but is also able to transfer the temperature of the motor coil with the help of an inbuilt thermistor. If the coil temperature reaches 140 degrees Celsius, the motor will generate warning signals that will let the operator know about the over heating problems. However, in the case of temperatures above 145 degrees Celsius, the motor will shut down automatically.
