Product Description:

For Industrial Automation applications along with a high-speed rotation output, the MS2N04-D0BHN-BMDH0-NNNNN-NN from Rexroth's Synchronous servo motor series MS2N is a great choice, as it is able to generate a nominal rotational speed of 2040 rpm that can go all the way up to 6000 rpm with the help of reinforced bearings that offer self-lubrication, keeping the servo motor rotating at high speeds. This motor is ideal for high-speed drilling applications, as it can be attached to CNC machines to move the axis. It supports multiturn rotation and can also be used as a spindle motor to help drive the drill bit to carve and drill an object of interest.

The standstill torque rating of this motor at 60K is around 3.85 Nm with a current draw of 1.61 amperes, while at 100K, the standstill torque is approximately 4.65 Nm with a current draw of 1.63 amperes. The maximum torque offered by this servo is 19.7 Nm when operating at cold temperatures under 20 degrees Celsius, while at 100K, the motor is only able to produce around 18.1 Nm of rotational torque.

This motor may get hot real quick, as it comes with a low-resistance copper core that has a winding resistance of just 15.3 ohms, allowing a lot of current to flow through the coils of the motor. To help combat high temperatures, this servo motor typically relies on self-cooling, a natural convection cooling method where the ambient air helps cool the motor body, which is made of aluminum and acts as a large heatsink. This motor comes with a thermal time constant of 14 minutes and has a safe operational temperature range of 0 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius. It also has a thermal class of Class F, allowing it to withstand a maximum temperature of up to 170 degrees Celsius.
