The rotor speed at the nominal operating mode of this servo motor is around 3900 rpm while at maximum or heavy-duty mode, the speed of this servo motor is 6000 rpm. To ensure this motor does not get too hot during operation, the SIL 3 safety protocol integrated within this motor will generate an alarm at 140 degrees Celsius while at 145 degrees Celsius, the motor will shut down automatically. The thermal insulation of this servo motor is of class F allowing this motor to withstand up to 145 degrees Celsius temperature.
The encoder on this motor is a multiturn encoder with a resolution of 2048 increments per rotation where for every 360-degree rotation this motor will move 2048 small steps providing precise movements. This multiturn encoder has a maximum rotation limit of 4096 rotations. The encoder uses the ACURO Link 2 interface that not only transmits the position data but also the temperature data to the motor controller serially to enhance the safety of the motor.
