Product Description:
The MS2N04-C0BTN-CSSK1-NNNNN-NN is a synchronous servo motor that is not only lightweight weighing approximately 4.4 kg but is also very compact and comes in an elegant enclosure design that allows this servo motor to be attached to a system easily even in a constricted space. This motor model offers a standstill torque of 2.8 Nm which is the locked rotor torque offered by this motor when the shaft of this servo is locked in a position preventing it from moving its shaft even when deliberate force is applied to it making this servo a good choice for robotics applications.
The maximum standstill torque offered by this servo is 3.50 Nm with a current draw of 3.9 amperes. The maximum torque rating during cold temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius is 13.05 Nm while in warm temperatures the maximum torque rating reduces down to 12 Nm. To mount this motor use 4 compatible screws and a flange with 85 mm width to mount the motor easily without causing the servo motor to vibrate too much during high-speed rotations.
Speaking of high-speed rotations, this servo motor comes with a nominal speed rating of 3900 rotations per minute while the maximum speed that this motor can rotate at is 6000 rotations per minute making this servo motor perfect for quick movements and applications that rely on low inertia motors especially this one that offers a low rotor inertia of 0.00016 kgm². This particular motor model comes with a holding brake system to stop a shaft when rotating at very high speeds. The holding torque offered by this brake is around 5 Nm requiring an operating voltage of 24 volts DC while requiring a current draw of 0.63 amperes.
