Product Description:
With a holding brake torque of 5 Nm, the MS2N04-C0BNN-BSDL1-NNNNN-NN from Rexroth is a 13.05 Nm servo motor that can generate a maximum speed of 6000 rpm. This motor comes with an operational temperature rating of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius and has a storage temperature rating between -20 to 80 degrees Celsius when the motor is non-operational. The motor connections for power and other relevant connectors are available on the top side of the motor, making it easier for the operators to wire the servo motor. This motor comes with a rotatable M17 dual cable.
This servo motor is designed to provide at least 1.74 Nm of torque for each ampere of current that it consumes and can generate around 11 volts of voltage for every 1000 rpm of speed that it rotates with, making this servo motor electrically efficient. This servo motor relies on the self-cooling method that uses natural convection in conjunction with the cool aluminum body to help cool the motor when operating at very high speeds, which may cause the motor to overheat. To counter that, the motor uses natural convection cooling. An external blower fan accessory can be paired up with this particular motor model to help cool the motor further.
This servo motor is designed to be lightweight, as it only weighs approximately 2 kg. With its anodized aluminum body, this motor is resistant to corrosion and comes with prime black paint that keeps the servo motor safe from oxidation. This motor also comes with a thermal time constant of 50 minutes, which is the time it takes for the servo motor to drop down to its steady-state temperature when operating at high speeds.
