Product Description:
The MS2N04-C0BNN-BSDG1-NNNNN-NN from Rexroth Indramat is a synchronous servo motor that comes with the BSDG1 option configuration. What this configuration offers is a standard Hiperface encoder with 128 signals for one complete rotational period. The encoder on this motor comes with a voltage rating between 5 to 12 volts DC with 7 volts being nominal and draws up to 35 mA of current to remain active. This motor encoder can only rotate once as it is a single-turn absolute encoder that has a resolution of 2048 steps for one complete rotation.
At 60K this motor has a standstill torque increment of 2.8 Nm while the normal torque at cold operating temperatures of up to 20 degrees Celsius is at 13.05 Nm while at hot climates this motor can generate a maximum torque of up to 12.96 Nm. This particular model comes with a rotor inertia of 0.00016 kgm² and allows the motor to quickly change the speed whenever a control signal is applied to it via a compatible motor controller. This motor is compatible with a closed-loop controller as with the help of an encoder this motor can easily rotate to a particular position with minimum error.
One of the standout features of this servo motor is the inclusion of a holding brake where the motor shaft is locked in a particular position with the help of this brake and has a holding torque of 5 Nm. This electrically released brake has a voltage rating of 24 volts DC and can draw up to 0.63 amperes of current. The maximum connection time of this holding brake is 30 ms while the maximum disconnection time is around 45 ms.
