Designed with precision kept in mind, the MS2N04-C0BNN-BMDH1-NNNNN-NN is a synchronous configuration servo motor that comes with a multiturn absolute encoder. This encoder is a Hiperface model that generates approximately 128 pulses for every period of rotation. This multiturn encoder is capable of performing 4096 rotations and can easily track both the position of the shaft and the number of turns that it has performed. The encoder on this servo motor comes with a voltage rating of 5 to 12 volts DC operating range and can draw up to 34 mA of current.
The BMDH1 configuration in this 13 Nm servo allows this motor to feature a smooth shaft design perfect for torque transmission and it also comes with a holding brake with a torque rating of 5 Nm. To establish a connection this brake requires 24 volts DC with a 10% tolerance level. It has a connection time delay of 30 ms while the disconnection time delay is 45 ms. This holding brake is controlled using the compatible motor control module where a required control signal is applied in order to engage the brake.
This servo motor is designed to be installed in an industrial environment as it can withstand all kinds of harsh industrial weather thanks to its black prime paint covering that ensures the motor housing remains sealed preventing it from corroding and oxidizing the body. The servo motor also comes with an IP 65 protection rating that not only protects the motor body from dust particles, but also keeps it safe from moisture, and low levels of water pressure and also provides scratch protection up to 0.2 mm deep ensuring the servo motor housing remains neat and smooth.
