Product Description:
The MS2N04-C0BNN-BMDH1-NNNNE-NN is part of the MS2N series of compact motors capable of generating high speeds with low levels of torque. This servo motor can rotate at a speed of 3230 rpm at normal operating conditions but can go all the way up to 6000 rpm where it can produce a rotational torque of up to 13.05 Nm while drawing a maximum current of up to 9.7 amperes while being operated at an input voltage of 169 volts AC.
This particular motor can generate a standstill torque of 2.39 Nm and with the help of an electrically released holding brake, the MS2N04-C0BNN-BMDH1-NNNNE-NN can hold the motor shaft in a fixed position with a holding brake of 5 Nm where the brake requires approximately 24 volts DC to be functional and draws around 1.2 amperes of current to function. This brake has around 30 ms delay when it comes to engaging the brake when a control command is sent to it while it takes a delay of around 45 ms in order for this motor brake to be released from its holding position.
The multiturn encoder on this servo motor has a revolution limit of 4096 revolution limit and a resolution of 128 pulses in one single rotation. To operate this motor encoder, the MS2N04-C0BNN-BMDH1-NNNNE-NN Hiperface encoder requires anywhere from 7 to 12 volts DC to function and is capable of registering in both clockwise and anticlockwise. The encoder connection and all the other necessary electrical connections are placed in an IP 65-protected enclosure box placed on the rear end of the motor housing. The power ports of this motor is on the top side of the motor making it easier for the users to connect the motor to the control system.
