Product Description:
The MS2N04-C0BNN-BMDH0-NNNNN-GM075N1010BN-NN servo motor from Bosch Electric's Rexroth subsidiary is a synchronous motor that can generate a standstill torque of up to 2.8 Nm at 60 K while drawing up to 1.78 Amperes of current from the power supply unit. This motor design comes with a 5-pole configuration, where each pole, with the help of electromagnetism, is able to rotate the shaft of the motor smoothly at high levels of speed, generating torque that can reach up to 13.05 Nm with a maximum speed of 6000 rpm thanks to the inclusion of self-lubricating high-speed bearings.
At a rated speed of 3230 rpm, this servo motor is capable of generating up to 2.39 Nm of torque at 100 K temperature and has a current rating of 1.61 amperes. The power rating at the rated conditions for this servo motor is around 0.81 kW. To ensure that the MS2N04-C0BNN-BMDH0-NNNNN-GM075N1010BN-NN remains within the operating temperature range of 0 to 45 degrees Celsius, the motor relies on a self-cooling method that uses natural convection cooling, where the motor is heavily reliant on the ambient temperature as the temperature of the air determines how quickly the motor will cool down. This servo motor comes with a thermal time constant of 16 minutes, which is the time it takes for this servo motor to attain the steady state temperature.
To track the movement of the shaft more accurately, the MS2N04-C0BNN-BMDH0-NNNNN-GM075N1010BN-NN comes with a multiturn encoder that follows the Hiperface configuration where the motor encoder generates up to 128 signals per rotation. This multiturn encoder can perform rotations of up to 4096 revolutions and can rotate in both clockwise and anticlockwise directions.
