The MS2N04-B0BTN-CSSH1-NNNNN-NN is a self-cooled and extremely durable synchronous motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat to operate in combination with a compatible drive controller and to provide a reliable and steady supply of kinetic energy even in environments considered to be unfavorable for conventional motors. This product is from the internationally renowned Bosch Rexroth Indramat; it is a permanent magnet motor that features an Advanced ACURO-Link single turn encoder system, which allows it to easily support the operation of several industrial applications. The encoder present in this servo motor is built to meet the safety specification of SIL2 and category 3, PL d. Apart from communicating the motor speed and position to the controller, the encoder also plays an important role in providing the connected encoder with information about the motor’s temperature status.

The MS2N04-B0BTN-CSSH1-NNNNN-NN industrial servo motor already has substantial protection against harsh environmental conditions; however, operators can further increase this protection level by equipping the motor with a sealing air connection. There is a rotatable sealing air collection interface located at the back of the motor’s housing.
