Designed with high-speed applications in mind, the MS2N04-B0BNN-CSHG0-NNNNN-NN from Rexroth Bosch Electric is a high-speed AC servo motor with a maximum speed rating of 6000 rpm while providing a low inertia of 0.0007 kgm2. This servo motor comes with the SIL 2 protection feature which helps with detecting abnormal coil temperatures and ensures that it remains within the safe operating temperature limits of 0 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius. This motor comes with a PT1000 resistive temperature detection module to sense the temperature of the copper coil.
This motor can be used for applications where accurate rotation of the shaft is necessary such as robotics and automated placement applications. To assist the auto-positioning of the shaft accurately, the MS2N04-B0BNN-CSHG0-NNNNN-NN comes with a single-turn absolute encoder which has a resolution of 1024 steps for one complete rotation. This single-turn absolute encoder allows the shaft to rotate very finely, has a data byte for every position, and does not overload the communication channel with continuous data transmission like the incremental encoders.
This servo motor comes with a compact length B design which allows this motor to be easily mounted in areas where the space is very constricted.
