Part of the MS2N series of Asynchronous motors, the MS2N03-D0BYN-CMSH0-NNANN-NN features a speed of 5700 rpm, perfect for high-speed applications. This servo motor has a frame length of D and is designed to be low inertia, ideal for robotics applications that may require steady and high shaft positioning. To control the shaft precisely, the MS2N03-D0BYN-CMSH0-NNANN-NN servo motor comes with an ACURO Link (SIL 2) encoder. This is a single-turn absolute encoder that operates on a closed-loop configuration.
This motor has varying specifications when it comes to ambient temperature change, as it can produce a standstill torque of 1.15 Nm at 60 Kelvin temperature, while at 100 Kelvin it can produce a standstill torque of 2.07 Nm while drawing a current of up to 2.6 Amperes. This motor has a maximum speed limit of 9000 rpm, which, with the use of standard-type bearings, is possible but will require the bearings to be lubricated after a specified cycle of use by the manufacturer. In order to attain even higher speeds of up to 11000 rpm, users can go for the V1 configuration of this motor. For every ampere of current, the MS2N03-D0BYN-CMSH0-NNANN-NN can generate a torque of up to 0.6 Nm, while for every speed of 1000 rpm, the motor can produce an output voltage of 36.2 volts.
