Bearings are an essential for smooth movement of the motor as it reduces friction and keeps the shaft rotating properly, the MS2N motors have deep grove ball bearings like other motor series from Bosch. These bearings may face high temperatures due to exposure to high speeds, to provide protection from the same these bearings come with a high temperature grease. The bearing are of 6001 DE size which are floating bearings and NDE size is 6000 which is fixed bearing. As far as the electrical connection for the power input to the motor is concerned, it is provided by a double cable connection. The cables are M17 in size and are rotatable to accommodate them even in tight spaces.
MS2N03-D0BYN-AMDL0-NNNNN-NN runs at a rated speed of 5700 rpm at 100 K. The max. speed (electrical) is 9000 rpm and the max. speed (mechanical) is 9000 rpm as well. The moment of inertia of the rotor is 0.000037 kgm^2 and the mass is 2 kgs. The rated power at 100 K is 0.4 Kw. For protection against foreign materials the motor has a varnish of one layer the customer can apply additional varnish if required but only up-to the permitted limit.

The motor can be mounted through various machinery elements like gearboxes, couplings etc. the mounting can either be horizontal for eg. flange attachment on the drive side of flange or vertical for eg. flange attachment on the drive side of the flange, drive side facing down.
