The motor frame length is size 'D', all the MSN03 motors are low inertia type. The winding designation is 'BY' which also refers to the maximum attainable speed of the motor in this winding which is 9000 1/min^(-1). Although the MS2N motors can be equipped with the forced ventilation or water cooling method for in applications where the motor is heated beyond normal conditions. The MS2N03-D0BYN-AMDK0-NNNNN-NN is a self-cooled motor having no special parts for cooling, rather relying on general conduction and convection to dissipate any heat that may be produced during operation.
The encoder is an essential part of the closed-loop feedback system of the MS2N motor, it allows the controller to verify the position of the rotor at any given point which is essential if the motor is to be used for servo drives where positioning is of utmost importance.
