The MS2N03-D0BYN-AMDK0-NNANN-NN is a 3 PM motor manufactured by Bosch international as part of their MS2N lineup. These motors offer high performance for various industry requirements. These are synchronous motors. The MS2N series has option for low inertia as well as mean inertia designs. Both design types have their respective applications and advantages. The MS2N03-D0BYN-AMDK0-NNANN-NN is a 'low inertia' designed motor. The motor can have different protection class due to different sealing methods that may be employed. A MS2N motor without any special sealing type will have a protection rating of IP 64, but with the employment of shaft sealing ring or sealing air connection the protection rating can be increased to IP 65 or even IP 67.

These are very compact motors that can run at very high speed due to their robust construction. The speed and torque vary as per the operating conditions, for this motor these values have been taken into consideration at 60 K and at 100 K. The standstill torque at 60 K is 1.15 Nm while it reaches 1.45 Nm at 100 K. The standstill current at 60 K is 2.07 A and 2.6 A at 100 K.

The motor's permissible working temp. is given by the ambient temp. range which is 0 degree Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius for all the M2SN motors. The motor may be operated in the 'S1' operation which refers to continuous operation or the 'S3' the periodic intermitted operation. The load tolerances for both these modes are different. When in S3 operation i.e. periodic use, the motor can take on higher load values. For safety reasons make sure to cross-check with the characteristic curve when using 'S1'.
