The MS2N03-B0BYN-HMSH0-NNNNE-NN is a synchronous AC servo motor. It is an AC electric motor in which, at steady state, the rotation of the shaft is synchronized with the frequency of the supply current; the rotation period is exactly equal to an integer number of AC cycles. This particular model comes with 5 poles and has a rated speed of 6470 rotations per minute, which can be further increased up to 9000 rotations per minute at maximum operating conditions. The motor has a frame length B and a low inertia design, making this motor perfect for high-speed applications.
The motor also comes with an additional ground connection that ensures that any stray currents, such as those caused by insulation breakdown or faults, are safely conducted away from the motor, reducing the risk of electric shock or damage to equipment. This protects both the motor and surrounding components from electrical faults.
