Product Description:
The Bosch Rexroth Indramat MS2E10-E1BFN-CMVK0-NNNNN-NN is a three-phase permanent-magnet servo motor in the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. The motor has size code 10 and frame length code E, providing a medium-frame option for coordinated axis control. Its average rotor inertia balances quick acceleration with stable operation under changing loads. A shaft with a keyway and sealing ring transmits torque while limiting the entry of contaminants. Standard deep-groove ball bearings support the rotor, and a PT1000 sensor monitors the winding temperature. The motor also includes an Advanced Performance ACUROlink multi-turn encoder, an RAL 9005 varnish coating, and a B5 / IM3001 mounting pattern.
The motor operates at a nominal speed of 1,500 rpm, supporting controlled motion in a range of industrial applications. Position feedback has a single-turn resolution of 20 bits, while absolute position tracking covers up to 4,096 mechanical revolutions without requiring an external homing routine. A flange measuring 196 mm provides the mounting interface for compatible gearheads and machine assemblies. The flange also has a 215 mm hole circle, 14 mm mounting holes, and a 180 mm centering collar for coaxial alignment. The enclosure provides IP65 protection with a shaft sealing ring, helping prevent dust and low-pressure water jets from reaching internal components. Electrical power and feedback cables exit through a rotatable double-cable outlet with an M17 signal connector and an M40 power connector, allowing the cable direction to suit available installation space.
Thermal management relies on self-cooling, so the motor does not require forced ventilation during normal operation. Continuous output is available at ambient temperatures from 0 to 40 °C without derating. The motor can operate at elevations from sea level to 1,000 m above mean sea level without recalculating the applicable drive limits. Its surface varnish helps protect the housing against corrosion, while its ATEX-compliant construction supports use in designated hazardous areas when all applicable installation requirements are followed. The motor is supplied without a holding brake, so vertical axes require drive-generated holding torque or an external clamp to retain a stationary load when power is removed.
