The MS2E10-D1BFN-CSVK0-NNNNN-NN is a three-phase permanent-magnet motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. Built for closed-loop motion axes in hazardous industrial zones, it combines ATEX-compliant construction with self-cooling, so auxiliary fans are unnecessary. The unit uses a standard deep-groove ball bearing arrangement and is supplied without a holding brake, making it suitable for continuous-duty drives where shaft torque is maintained electrically. As a synchronous servomotor, it converts current from the drive inverter into precise rotary position and speed for automated machinery.
Its nominal speed reaches 1500 rpm, providing an operating point that supports gearbox selection and electronic commutation. Position feedback is delivered by an Advanced Performance ACUROlink single-turn encoder with a functional resolution of 20 bits, allowing the controller to resolve 1,048,576 discrete shaft positions within one revolution. The enclosure provides IP65 protection with a shaft sealing ring, blocking dust and water jets, while the built-in PT1000 temperature sensor supplies winding temperature data to the converter. Continuous operation is permitted from 0 to 40 °C without derating. The centering collar measures 180 mm and matches an IM3001 mounting arrangement that uses 14 mm through holes on a standard flange.
