Product Description:
The MS2E10-C0BHN-CSVK0-NNNNN-NN is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. Classified as a three-phase permanent-magnet unit, it is built for precision motion tasks in industrial automation. Motor size code 10 and frame length code C establish the stack length and output envelope, allowing integration into medium-power axes that demand quick acceleration. When paired with a compatible drive, it converts electrical current into controlled rotary motion for indexing tables, gantry carriages, and similar equipment.
The housing provides IP65 protection with a shaft sealing ring, and its RAL 9005 varnish finish resists fluids and abrasion. A centering collar with a diameter of 180 mm aligns the stator on the machine face, while the 196 mm square flange uses standard flange accuracy and B5 / IM3001 geometry for direct gearbox coupling. Four mounting holes are positioned on a 215 mm bolt circle and accept high-strength bolts. Each hole has a diameter of 14 mm, permitting repeatable clamping without deforming the flange. A keyway on the shaft transfers torque, while deep-groove ball bearings support the low-inertia rotor at a nominal speed of 2000 rpm and maintain concentricity during rapid load reversals.
The motor uses self-cooling, eliminating auxiliary fans and allowing operation from 0 to 40 °C without power derating at installation altitudes up to 1,000 m above mean sea level. An internal PT1000 temperature sensor reports winding temperature to the controller. The motor is ATEX compliant for operation in applicable hazardous areas when it is installed and operated according to the required safety conditions. Position feedback is provided by an Advanced Performance ACUROlink single-turn encoder with 20-bit resolution across one absolute revolution. Power and signal cables exit through a rotatable double-cable junction that uses M17 and M40 interfaces. The shaft is supplied without a holding brake, which reduces rotor inertia and requires an external means of retaining a stationary load when power is removed.
