The MS2E07-E0CNN-CSSG0-NNNNN-NN is a three-phase permanent-magnet synchronous servomotor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. In machine tools, packaging lines, or assembly stations, it converts drive-controller output into precise angular motion for positioning tasks. Its compact frame, low rotor inertia, and integrated single-cable feedback make it suitable for high-dynamic automation axes that require rapid motion and accurate position feedback.
The motor reaches a nominal speed of 3000 rpm, allowing fast indexing without overshoot. The ACUROlink encoder supplies absolute single-turn position data at a 20-bit resolution, giving the controller 1,048,576 discrete positions per revolution. The enclosure has an IP65 rating, and a shaft sealing ring helps block dust and water jets from entering the motor. The design complies with ATEX requirements for operation in applicable hazardous locations. A centering collar diameter of 130 mm aligns the B5 flange with gearboxes, while the flange measures 140 mm and has standard flange accuracy. Power and encoder conductors share a rotatable M23 single-cable connector, which simplifies cable routing and installation. Self-cooling removes heat without requiring an external fan or separate airflow equipment. The smooth shaft runs in deep-groove ball bearings, and the low-inertia rotor supports responsive acceleration. The unit is supplied without a holding brake, reducing mass on axes that already use mechanical locking devices.
The motor uses the B5 / IM3001 mounting pattern with 11 mm fixing holes drilled on a 165 mm bolt circle. The allowable ambient operating temperature ranges from 0 to 40 °C without derating, and the installation altitude can reach 1,000 m above mean sea level. A black RAL 9005 varnish finish protects the housing against corrosion in industrial environments. A PT1000 temperature sensor embedded in the stator reports winding temperature to the drive for thermal monitoring and protective control. Frame length code E and motor size code 07 indicate the motor’s stack dimensions and physical envelope.
