Intended for closed-loop positioning and speed control, it drives machine axes that require a high dynamic response while maintaining precise feedback through an integrated ACUROlink multi-turn encoder. The motor combines a low-inertia rotor with frame length E, providing a compact, high-torque solution for pick-and-place modules, gantries, and packaging stations in industrial automation.
Mechanical output is supported by a rated holding brake that delivers 36.00 Nm of shaft-locking torque when power is removed, preventing drift on vertical loads. Under continuous duty, the rotor can turn at a nominal speed of 3000 rpm, matching common servo drive frequency ranges. Position data are captured by the Advanced Performance ACUROlink system; the single-turn resolution reaches 20 bits, while the multi-turn counter stores up to 4096 revolutions, enabling accurate homing after power cycles. Because the stator and frame share a common thermal path, the motor relies on self-cooling.
