The MS2E07-E0CNN-CMSK0-NNNNN-NN is a three-phase permanent-magnet synchronous servomotor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. It is designed for closed-loop positioning in packaging, material-handling, and machining equipment. When paired with a compatible Rexroth drive controller, the motor provides rapid acceleration, short settling times, and repeatable rotary motion for high-throughput industrial automation.
The motor reaches a nominal speed of 3000 rpm. Position feedback is provided by a multi-turn Advanced Performance ACUROlink encoder with a functional single-turn resolution of 20-bit and storage for up to 4096 absolute revolutions. A single rotatable M23 connector routes power, feedback signals, and temperature data through one interface. The built-in PT1000 temperature sensor allows the drive to monitor winding temperature throughout the 0 to 40 °C operating range without derating. The enclosure has an IP65 rating, preventing airborne dust and directed water jets from reaching internal components. Standard deep-groove ball bearings support the low-inertia rotor, while RAL 9005 varnish protects the stator laminations from moisture. The motor can operate at sites up to 1,000 m above mean sea level and is supplied without a holding brake, reducing mass for highly dynamic axes.
The motor uses the B5 / IM3001 mounting pattern for installation on machine frames and driven equipment. A centering collar with a diameter of 130 mm aligns the housing, while the flange has a bolt-circle diameter of 165 mm and 11 mm mounting holes. A keyed shaft transfers torque to the connected equipment, and its sealing ring helps prevent lubricant leakage and contaminant entry. The motor uses self-cooling, eliminating the need for an external blower or liquid-cooling circuit. The assembly is ATEX compliant for use in regulated, potentially explosive atmospheres. It also has a 140 mm flange, frame length code E, and motor size code 07, providing a compact footprint for fast-cycling servo axes.
