This three-phase permanent-magnet motor is intended for precise positioning and velocity control in automated machinery, packaging lines, industrial robots, and gantry axes. An integrated multi-turn encoder supplies position feedback, while the low-inertia rotor provides fast acceleration and short settling times during repetitive motion.
The motor reaches a nominal speed of 4500 rpm, supporting high cycle rates without exceeding the intended operating range. A size 2 electrically released holding brake provides 36.00 Nm of holding torque to secure the axis when its supply voltage is removed. The mechanical interface includes a centering collar diameter of 130 mm, a square flange measuring 140 mm, 11 mm mounting holes, and a B5 / IM3001 mounting arrangement with standard flange accuracy. The housing has an IP65 protection rating, and a shaft sealing ring helps prevent contaminants from reaching internal components. The smooth shaft transfers torque through a clamping coupling, while deep-groove ball bearings support the applicable radial loads. Self-cooling removes motor heat without an external blower.
