Designed for dynamic positioning axes, this low-inertia unit converts drive current into rapid torque changes without an external blower because its housing uses self-cooling. It is intended for industrial automation applications that require tight velocity and position control, including packaging lines, assembly cells, and inspection conveyors.
The motor achieves a nominal speed of 4500 rpm, enabling fast cycle times for pick-and-place gantries. An electrically released size 2 holding brake supplies 36.00 Nm of static torque to secure vertical loads when power is removed. Position feedback comes from a multi-turn encoder that tracks 4096 absolute revolutions, while an internal PT1000 temperature sensor monitors winding temperature.
