The MS2E07-D0BNN-CSSK0-NNNNN-NN is a three-phase permanent-magnet servo motor from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. This three-phase permanent-magnet motor converts electrical power into accurate rotary motion for drive-controlled axes in automated machinery. A rotatable M23 single-cable connection carries both power and encoder signals, simplifying installation and reducing the number of separate cable runs. The unit is delivered without a holding brake, so an external mechanical restraint is required when the application needs static load holding.
The drive can command a nominal speed of 3000 rpm, providing fast positioning for low-inertia movements. A flange diameter of 140 mm, a centering collar of 130 mm, and 11 mm mounting holes match the B5 / IM3001 pattern for direct coupling to gearboxes. Inside the housing, standard deep-groove ball bearings carry radial loads while the motor operates at full speed. The Advanced Performance ACUROlink single-turn encoder provides 20-bit resolution over one absolute revolution, allowing the drive to determine the rotor position immediately after startup. Frame length D and motor size 07 provide a compact housing with torque capacity suitable for dynamic motion axes. Heat is removed through self-cooling, allowing operation at installation altitudes up to 1,000 m above mean sea level. The enclosure has an IP65 protection rating when used with its shaft sealing ring, while black RAL 9005 varnish protects the exterior against corrosion.
Continuous output is maintained from 0 to 40 °C without derating, and a built-in PT1000 temperature sensor transmits winding temperature data to the drive for thermal monitoring. The motor is ATEX compliant, supporting use in qualifying areas where explosive gases or combustible dust may be present. A bolt circle of 165 mm positions the mounting screws to support accurate alignment with the connected machine. The keyway shaft transmits torque through positive engagement with a coupling, while its sealing ring helps prevent contaminants from reaching the bearings. A low-inertia rotor supports rapid acceleration and deceleration during short positioning cycles.
