The Bosch Rexroth Indramat MS2E07-D0BNN-CMSK0-NNNNN-NN is a three-phase permanent-magnet motor offered in the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. It serves as a drive source for automated packaging stations, pick-and-place axes, and light machining spindles where fast dynamic response is required. A low-inertia rotor lets control loops command rapid acceleration and deceleration without overshoot, and the motor can be coupled directly to gearheads or belt transmissions in compact machine frames.
At a nominal speed of 3000 rpm, the MS2E07 transmits torque through a keyway shaft supported by a standard deep-groove bearing set. The B5 / IM3001 flange measures 140 mm and is centered by a 130 mm collar; four 11 mm holes on a 165 mm bolt circle secure the unit to the machine frame. Position data come from an Advanced Performance ACUROlink multi-turn encoder with a 20-bit single-turn resolution and a memory depth of 4096 revolutions, allowing high-fidelity servo control. Thermal protection is handled by an integrated PT1000 sensor that reports the winding temperature to the drive. Power, encoder, and sensor signals share a rotatable M23 single-cable connection. The self-cooling housing dissipates heat without an external blower.
The enclosure provides IP65 protection with a shaft sealing ring, preventing dust ingress and protecting the lubricated bearing. Continuous operation is permitted from 0 to 40 °C without torque derating, and rated output is maintained at altitudes from 0 to 1,000 m above mean sea level. The motor is ATEX compliant, enabling use in designated explosive atmospheres when it is installed with the required RAL 9005 varnish coating and appropriate system safeguards. The motor has no holding brake, which reduces mass, while standard flange accuracy supports alignment during mounting. Its deep-black finish provides a uniform protective surface for the housing.
