It has a flange size of 116 mm, uses a standard deep-groove ball bearing, and is protected to IP65 with a shaft sealing ring. The servomotor offers a holding torque of 15 Nm, comes with a size 2 electrically released holding brake, and is self-cooled with low rotor inertia.
Internal Product Review
The MS2E06-D0BRN-EMUK2-NNNNS-G1 is a 3~ PM servomotor with low rotor inertia, making the design especially attractive for dynamic motion axes. ATEX compliance and IP65 protection with shaft sealing ring support dependable service in regulated and contamination-prone installations. A multiturn encoder with 4096 absolute revolutions is a strong technical advantage for position retention and precise control.

Product Description:
The MS2E06-D0BRN-EMUK2-NNNNS-G1 is a three-phase permanent-magnet synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. It converts electrical power from a compatible inverter into precisely regulated rotary motion. This operation supports positioning tables, pick-and-place axes, and other closed-loop automation equipment that requires controlled torque, speed, and shaft position. Electronic commutation allows the inverter to regulate the permanent-magnet rotor without the brushes used in conventional DC motors.
The motor reaches a nominal speed of 4500 rpm, supporting rapid cycles with high-ratio gear stages or suitable direct-drive loads. For load support at standstill, the size 2 brake provides 15.00 Nm of holding torque after its coil is de-energized. Position feedback comes from a multi-turn encoder that records 4096 absolute revolutions, allowing the controller to retain the shaft position across multiple turns without performing a homing cycle after startup. The motor has an ingress protection rating of IP65 with a shaft sealing ring, which protects internal components from dust and low-pressure water jets while helping retain lubricant around the keyway shaft. The housing connects to machinery through a 116 mm square flange with a B5/IM3001 mounting arrangement. A 95 mm centering collar supports concentric alignment, while 9 mm mounting holes positioned on a 130 mm circle accommodate secure fastening to the machine structure.
The motor has ATEX-compliant construction for applications that may include explosive atmospheres. Reliable operation is permitted at elevations up to 1,000 m above mean sea level without output derating within that altitude range. A PT1000 temperature sensor embedded in the stator winding provides thermal data to the drive, allowing current reduction or shutdown before excessive winding temperatures occur. The low-inertia rotor supports short acceleration times and helps reduce overshoot in high-gain servo control loops. A self-cooling design removes heat without a separate fan or liquid-cooling circuit, reducing the number of auxiliary components required around the motor. The frame has a protective RAL 9005 varnish finish, and deep-groove ball bearings support the radial and axial loads transmitted through the shaft during operation.
