Product Description:
The MS2E06-D0BRN-CMSG2-NNNNN-NN is a three-phase permanent-magnet motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. It is supplied to machine builders that need compact, high-precision rotary actuation for indexing tables, feeder rolls, or small gantries. When paired with a Rexroth drive, the unit converts modulated stator currents into regulated motion, providing closed-loop torque and speed in applications where mechanical transmissions are minimized.
A nominal speed of 4,500 rpm is available from the D-length frame and low-inertia rotor, and an electrically released brake supplies a holding torque of 15.00 Nm for vertical or standby axes. An Advanced Performance ACUROlink multi-turn encoder provides a resolution of 20 bits per revolution and records 4,096 absolute turns, eliminating the need for homing routines. Deep-groove ball bearings support the shaft. The 116 mm flange, 95 mm centering collar, 130 mm hole circle, and four 9 mm mounting holes position the housing on B5 / IM3001 gearheads, while the flange has standard accuracy. The motor has size code 06 and frame length code D, and it can operate at installation altitudes up to 1,000 m. Continuous output remains undiminished at ambient temperatures from 0 to 40 °C, while a sealing ring and the casing provide IP65 ingress protection.
The motor is ATEX compliant, allowing installation in zones that require certified equipment when it is paired with the proper drive. Heat is removed through self-cooling surfaces, eliminating the need for external blowers. Power, feedback, and brake leads share a single cable connection with an M23 connector, and the rotatable plug eases cable routing in confined spaces. A factory-applied RAL 9005 varnish coating resists common shop fluids. The smooth shaft mates with gearboxes without requiring keyways. Internal temperature is monitored by a PT1000 sensor, enabling the controller to respond before the motor reaches its insulation temperature limits.
