The MS2E06-D0BNN-CSSK2-NNNNN-NN is a three-phase permanent-magnet synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. The unit supplies precise torque and velocity control in automated machinery while complying with ATEX requirements for potentially explosive environments. An Advanced Performance ACUROlink single-turn encoder sends position data through a single rotatable M23 hybrid cable, reducing the number of separate power and feedback connections. A size 2 electrically released holding brake retains the load position when power is removed, making the motor suitable for axes that must remain stationary during a power interruption.
During operation, the motor reaches a nominal speed of 3000 rpm without derating at ambient temperatures from 0 to 40 °C. Its self-cooling design dissipates heat without a separate fan, while the low-inertia rotor supports rapid acceleration and responsive positioning. The brake develops a holding torque of 15.00 Nm, allowing a vertical axis to remain locked when the brake is engaged. The enclosure has an IP65 protection rating and includes a shaft sealing ring, preventing dust and low-pressure water jets from entering the motor housing. Motion feedback has a functional resolution of 20 bits, providing detailed position information for accurate closed-loop control. The motor can operate at installation altitudes from 0 to 1,000 m without altitude-related derating.
The motor uses the B5 / IM3001 mounting arrangement and has a flange size of 116 mm. Its mounting pattern has a bolt-circle diameter of 130 mm, supporting secure attachment to compatible machine frames. A centering collar measuring 95 mm aligns the motor accurately with a gearbox, coupling, or mounting plate. Four mounting holes, each with a diameter of 9 mm, accept suitable fasteners for the flange connection. The housing has a black RAL 9005 varnish finish, and the output shaft includes a keyway for positive torque transmission. Deep-groove ball bearings support the rotor, and the motor uses size code 06 with frame length D. Standard flange accuracy supports proper coupling alignment, while an internal PT1000 temperature sensor monitors winding temperature during operation.
