Designed for closed-loop positioning tasks, the unit converts drive inverter power into controlled motion for packaging, assembly, and material-handling machinery. Advanced feedback electronics embedded in the motor deliver precise position data to the controller. The output shaft supports direct coupling to gearboxes or pulleys, making the motor suitable for compact multi-axis layouts in industrial automation.

Rated for a nominal speed of 6000 rpm, the motor dissipates heat through self-cooling, so no fans or liquid jackets are required. An Advanced Performance ACUROlink multi-turn encoder supplies 20-bit single-turn resolution for accurate position measurement. Power and feedback share a single-cable connection with an M23 connector that can be rotated to suit the installation. The housing provides IP65 protection with a shaft sealing ring, and the keyed shaft has a separate seal to help prevent contaminant entry. Continuous output is maintained at ambient temperatures from 0 to 40 °C and at elevations from 0 to 1,000 m without derating. A RAL 9005 varnish coating protects the housing, while motor size code 05 keeps the package compact. The motor is supplied without a holding brake, so an external clamping device or another suitable mechanism must retain stationary loads when drive torque is unavailable.
