The MS2E04-C0BNN-CSSG1-NNNNN-NN is a three-phase permanent-magnet servomotor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. Intended for closed-loop positioning and speed control in automated machinery, this permanent-magnet motor is ATEX-compliant, allowing installation in zones with explosive atmospheres. Its low-inertia rotor enables rapid acceleration, making the unit suitable for pick-and-place stations and fast conveyor modules.
The motor delivers a nominal torque of 1.62 Nm at a continuous current of 1.10 A and operates at a nominal speed of 3000 rpm. For short-term overloads, torque increases to 12.00 Nm, and the shaft can reach 6000 rpm. Standstill torque is 2.80 Nm, while the torque constant is 1.74 Nm/A and the voltage constant is 105.7 V per 1000 rpm. Winding resistance is 10.9 Ω, and the motor has five pole pairs. Self-cooling maintains the permitted 60 K temperature rise. Maximum torque at 20 °C is 13.05 Nm, and an internal PT1000 sensor monitors the motor temperature. Feedback is supplied by an Advanced Performance ACUROlink single-turn encoder.
The motor uses a B5 / IM3001 mounting pattern with an 82 mm flange, a 50 mm centering collar, a 95 mm bolt circle, and 6.6 mm mounting holes. Flange accuracy is standard, and the frame length code is C. A smooth shaft with a sealing ring connects to an IP65 housing finished with RAL 9005 varnish. The encoder records one absolute revolution and provides 20-bit resolution. A size 1 electrically released brake supplies 5.00 Nm of static holding torque and operates from a 24 V supply at 0.63 A. During dynamic movement, the drive may command up to 9.7 A. Deep-groove ball bearings support the rotor, while a rotatable M23 single-cable connector provides the electrical connection. The permitted operating temperature ranges from 0 to 40 °C at elevations up to 1000 m above sea level.
